The beer pours a dark brown sugar like color, little lace or stick but quite attractive nonetheless. Aromas hint of the sea, sweet, briney-where are the oysters? Medium to full bodied, flavors include licorice, roasted bittersweet malt and a persistent licoricey hop bitter. The finish is long, tasty and very smooth. A nice drink.
