Pours a good caramel color with cherry tints. The head is non-existant. Aromas are all cherry pie. One can smell the pie crust as well as the cinnamon, clove, nutmeg, and the sweet, plump, sour cherries. In the mouth the beer is a touch flabby. The acidity in my sample was definately lacking. Flavors are of sour cherry pie and woody baking spices. Pinot Noir esc, this ale would be at home with duck, salmon, and probably beef tenderloin. Don’t forget the cherry pie.
