The pour is a honeyed pink with a creamy head that leaves a generous sticky lace throughout. Aromas are fresh and zippy, and fruit driven with sweet currant and malt on the tail end. In the mouth the beer is crisp and cleansing and again very fruit driven. Perhaps as I am a wine drinker as much a beer drinker, this beer strikes a heartstring. The mouthfeel is brisk and somewhat creamy with currant flavors chiming in on the long tangy finish. This is a great summer refresher for fans of fruit infused brews. No apologies given.
