A dead ringer for a Belgian tripel. Electric gold in color with minimal head. However the lace is elegant and very pretty. Aromas are again very Belgian-earthy, funky, rustic and true to the style fruit driven. The oak is never overdone and shows nice integration. In the mouth the brew screams Belgian-who’d a thunk it. The flavor profile is complex with sweet fruity, nutty, oaky notes in fine balance. The oak lingers on the long finish. very well done, and a treat to taste.
