The Fat Angel huh? I don’t know what that means here. The beer pours a pale amber and sports little head though a nice showing on the sides of the glass. Aromas hint of a “sweet” angel with sweet hoppy notes that come off as somewhat fruity. In the mouth the beer is on the light end of medium bodied and a bit dilute. Flavors favor again “sweet” angel fruitiness and subdued hoppiness. The beer seems to lack a middle and comes across as just a simple pale ale that finishes lean vs mean. And, that’s no way to act for a “Fat” angel don’t you know.
