Hard boiled eggs!

I’ve been researching this forever (start in cold water, blah, blah, blah)-now have come up with the standard bearer.   (I’m serious-try this-you will never search again.) Shall I share? Any quantity off large egg.  Bring to a boil a large amount of water-say in a pasta pot-enough to totally submerse the eggs. You can add salt if you want, but I don’t really see it penetrating the egg shell. When the water comes to a boil add eggs , and cook for exactly 12 minutes.  Place strained eggs into an ice bath for 15 minutes-peel! You will see they peel with alacrity! And they yield perfect pastel-bright yellow yolks-not a shade of grey.  Perfect recipe! Thanks Phyliss! Now you are on your way to Deviled egg MAGIC!
