(Fairly) Cheap-and good red (Italy)

Avignonesi 2008 Rosso di Montepulciano:  Bright red cherry in color with suggestions of brick.  Sour cherry Sangiovese nose-ample glycerin-inviting. On the palate tangy yet balanced tart cherry turning to sweet black cherry. Very soft tannins and persistent finish. Versatile food wine- Lower fat red Meats-(Tenderloin-grass-fed steaks) Veal, Duck. Or, don’t get to analytical and just enjoy with a best bud, some music, and whatever is on the menu. Around 15 bucks.
