The Best Beer Bar In Boston

No kidding-hands down-this is the best place for beer in Boston.  Deep Ellum! www.deepellum-boston.com
A place with a sense of place. All in the know in the area live for this place. When you walk in the door you are transported to Europe. Sit down at the bar. Check out the menu. Grab a Cantillon on draft. (the draft selection changes here all the time-with the seasons) Next peruse the menu. Moules Frites? Best Wurst? (the newest house sausage creation with petite yet flavorful sides-changes regularly) Hot Pretzel with beer cheese sauce-this time utilizing Gritty’s Black Fly Stout. Rotating twists on Deviled eggs- Fries with truffle and Parmesan. Morrocan Tagine. Nice selection of beer friendly entrees-limited yet classically creative offerings that pronounce: We’re not just in it for the money-this is a house of (love) for what we do. And, for those low on dough-how bout a Hebrew National dog for 3 bucks! A dollar more and chili joins the dog. Then comes the beer list. I like to stay on draft. This list is so well thought out it is dangerous. And, the list never stagnates. Folks here love the tease of the newest picks. Nuff said. Proof Positive-tonight’s visit: Tasted (On Draft) Cantillon Louis Pepe Kreik 2007-wonderful!! North Coast Old Rasputin-taken to the next level (on Nitro) Magical! (In Bottle) De Dolle Special Reserva 09 Oerbier (extremely special!!!!) A rare under the table treat. The staff here are all learned and into their work. The owner is a fixture in the Boston Beer scene. Go where the pros hang-awesome vibe. This country needs more Deep Ellum. A Boston Must! Oh,did I mention the eye candy? Sweet!
