Gosh Darn Jolly Pumpkin! Out of Michigan. I grew up here! Another Cool Shelton Bro’s. Import.

This brew was really cool as I grew up here.  In Michigan, and I am really proud of what I’ve seen here since I left circa 1982.  Spent the latter half  of  1970-1982  in Michigan and still have an allegiance.  Nice to see these world class offerings!  Nate over at Marty’s Newton Ma. recommended this to me.  Thank You Nate for the strong Suggestion-stellar! \m/.

Jolly Pumpkin “Weizen Bam.”

Farm House Wheat Beer.  Farm House and Wheat are two words I love to hear when it comes to beer.  As the bottle states “Ruddy Golden Color” with a sporting of snow white head.  Aromas fade off quickly into deeper lemon, banana, earthy, baking spice, and a very yeasty-is this Michigan Terroir?  I  am getting a very pungent wild yeast statement here.  Is this Michigan? YEAH! This beer is light on the palate with a perfect carbonation. A hard to peg aroma of mildly wild, almost smoked pork thing happening. Very sour, redolent of Berliner Weisse-citrus notes in the way of grapefruit Pith or Zest.  God, you just have to try this beer!  Thank You Nate!
