The Legendary Chicago Blues Pianist-Pinetop Perkins.

Here’s one from Pinetop, the legendary Chicago Blues pianist.  This guy is now 95 years of age.  He is still playing like a young kid.  I became engrossed with his music living in Chicago from 1989 to 2004.  I checked out nearly every thing he did. Now in the year 2009, I stumbled across an album of his I bought years ago (1992)  entitled “Pinetop’s Boogie Wogggie’” on the “Antone’s” record label out of Austin Texas.  I slapped it on while making a chocolate mousse for tomorrow’s Beer dinner here in Boston.  I could not find my favorite track, “Pinetop’s Boogie Woogie, ” on video, but I did find this mind blowing number that shows just what you can do at any age if you still have the passion!  Stay with the track through the phenom guitar solo.  Here is a legend, and here is Pinetop.  A must for any Blues lover.  Life is good!
